Brother-Sister Winners on the PGA Tour/LPGA Tour
Cathy Gerring and Billy Kratzert
The Kratzerts are easy to overlook because Cathy Kratzert got famous under her married name, Gerring. Billy Kratzert was a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, first at the 1976 Walt Disney World National Team Championship, and last at the 1984 Pensacola Open. He went on to a long career as a golf broadcaster.Billy, 12 years older than Cathy, was done winning before Cathy joined the LPGA Tour in 1985. Gerring played the LPGA for nearly 20 years, but all three of her victories happened in a five-month period in 1990. When she won her first, the 1990 Lady Keystone Open, the Kratzerts became the first brother-and-sister duo to have wins on the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour.
Jackie Gallagher and Jim Gallagher Jr.
Jim Gallagher Jr. is the older of Gallagher siblings, and he was also the first of the two to win on the biggest stage. Jim won five times on the PGA Tour, first at the 1990 Greater Milwaukee Open and last at the 1995 FedEx St. Jude Classic. His biggest victory was the 1993 Tour Championship.Jackie, who also competed under her married name, Jackie Gallagher-Smith, won once on the LPGA Tour at the 1999 Giant Eagle LPGA Classic. The Gallaghers have a third sibling, Jeff Gallagher, who won on the Nationwide Tour.
Minjee Lee and Min Woo Lee
The Kratzerts and Gallaghers are American families, the Lees are Australian. And in the case of the Lees, it is the sister who is the older and who first won on her tour.Minjee Lee, to the time of this writing, was easily the most accomplished golfer included in this list. One of the LPGA Tour's best players from the time she joined the tour in 2015, she reached double-digit victories in her ninth year. That number included two majors: the 2021 Evian Championship and 2022 U.S. Women's Open.
Min Woo Lee turned pro in 2019 and over the next few years recorded wins on other tours (European Tour, Asian Tour). His first PGA Tour victory happened at the 2025 Houston Open, making the Lees just the third brother-sister pair in golf history to have wins on the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour.
