2024 World Golf Rankings: No. 1, Top 50 at End of Year
Just as he began the year, Scottie Scheffler ended 2024 at No. 1 in the rankings. Scheffler won a PGA Tour-leading seven times, all of them big events. Those wins included the 2024 Masters, plus The Players Championship and Tour Championship. His four other PGA Tour wins were all "signature events": the Arnold Palmer Invitational, RBC Heritage, Memorial Tournament and Travelers Championship.
Scheffler won the scoring title, led the money list and won the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award. Outside of the PGA Tour, Scheffler won the gold medal in the 2024 Olympics tournament, plus the Hero World Challenge.
