BellSouth Senior Classic on Champions Tour

The BellSouth Senior Classic was a golf tournament on the Champions Tour (Senior Tour) played from the mid-1990s into the mid-2000s. It was played in Nashville, Tennessee.

The tournament's lowest winning score of 196 was set in the event's final year, 2003, by Jim Ahern. The 18-hole scoring record was 62, first recorded by Dave Stockton in 1994 and matched by Isao Aoki in 1998.

Aoki and Gil Morgan were the tournament's only multiple champions, each with two wins. Morgan also finished runner-up once.

In 2003, Morris Hatalsky set a then-Championship Tour record for consecutive holes without a bogey at 98. His streak ended in this tournament when he bogeyed the second hole in the second round.

Hale Irwin, second in Champions Tour history with 45 wins, won this tournament in 2000. He made his debut on the Senior Tour in the 1995 BellSouth Senior Classic, finishing fourth that year.

Also known as: The tournament was sometimes billed as the BellSouth Senior Classic at Opryland. In its final year, it was named the Music City Championship at Gaylord Opryland.
