Largest Margins of Victory in Curtis Cup

The Curtis Cup is one of the biggest events in women's amateur golf. Here, we'll list the largest margins of victory (which also means the worst losses) in the competition's history, for Team USA/Team GB&I, and also in the individual matches.

The Curtis Cup is played every other year between squads of amateur women golfers, one representing the United States (USA) and one representing Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I). Players compete in several different individual and pairs match-play formats, in which winning a match earns one point for their side, and tying a match earns a half-point.

Largest Team Winning Margins in Curtis Cup

The largest margins of victory in the overall Curtis Cup, so far, belong to Team USA. The American side has posted multiple double-digit wins: The biggest win by Team Great Britain and Ireland is eight points in the 1986 Curtis Cup. The score that year was GB&I 13, USA 5.

Largest Winning Margins in Singles, Foursomes, Fourballs
