2028 U.S. Open Dates, Golf Course
The 2028 U.S. Open golf tournament will be the 128th time the tournament is played. Staged by the United States Golf Association and dating to 1895, the U.S. Open is the second-oldest tournament among the four "major championships." It is played annually in June and rotates to golf courses around the U.S.

Golf course: Winged Foot Golf Club (West Course) in Mamaroneck, New York
Tickets for the 2028 U.S. Open will likely go on sale around the time of, or shorly after, the playing of the 2027 tournament. When ticket information becomes available, it will be posted on usga.org.
The groupings and tee times for the 2028 U.S. Open will be determined by the USGA. The USGA typically announces those pairings during the week of the tournament, usually on the Tuesday preceding the tournament's Thursday start.

2028 U.S. Open Course: Winged Foot
The A.W. Tillinghast-designed West Course at Winged Foot Golf Club in New York will be, in 2028, the site of the U.S. Open for the seventh time. Most recently, the club hosted in 2020 when the West Course was played at 7,477 yards and a par 70. Its most-famous U.S. Open was 1974, which is remembered as "The Massacre at Winged Foot," the tournament the USGA's reputation for very tough set-ups was established.These are the previous U.S. Opens, and their winners, played at Winged Foot West:
