U.S. Open Future Sites (Golf Courses) and Dates

When and where will future U.S. Open golf tournaments be played? The "when" is known for future U.S. Opens a few years in advance; there "where" is known for U.S. Open several decades into the future.

The U.S. Open, run by the United States Golf Association (USGA), is one of the four major championships of men's professional golf. It takes place annually in June. The USGA has clearly settled on a rotation of golf courses ("rota") that it likes for the next few decades. There are no surprises on the list of U.S. Open future sites — all of the courses named so far are classic American major championship venues, most of which have been frequently visited by the USGA (for the U.S. Open as well as its other championships) in the past.
