Golfers With Most Solheim Cups and Matches Played
In the history of the Solheim Cup, which golfer has made the most appearances as a player? And which golfer has played in the most combined singles, fourballs and foursomes matches? In both cases, the record-holder is Laura Davies.
Davies played in the USA-vs.-Europe competition a record 12 times, starting with the very first one, the 1990 Solheim Cup. And she played in every one of the biennial tournaments, through the 2011 Solheim Cup. That's 12 playing appearances total for Davies. And in those 12 Cups, she played a total of 46 matches, also the Solheim Cup record.
