Thw 2025 PGA Championship will be the 107th time this golf tournament is played. The PGA Championship, run by the PGA of America, is one of the four major championships of men's professional golf. It was first played in 1916.

Defending champion: Xander Schauffele was a wire-to-wire winner in 2024, making birdie on the last stroke of the tournament to claim his first major championship victory.

The final field list will be released a few weeks prior to the tournament. The pairings and tee times for the first two rounds are determined by the PGA of America. They are typically announced early in the tournament week. 2025 PGA Championship Golf Course: Quail Hollow

The Quail Hollow Club, in Charlotte, North Carolina, was founded in 1959 and its golf course opened for play in 1961. The course has been the site of PGA Tour events as well as one previous major championship. That major, and its winner:

• 2017 PGA Championship: Justin Thomas, 276

Quail Hollow was also the site of the 2022 Presidents Cup. There are three tour events in the club's history: The Kemper Open on the PGA Tour (played 1969-79); the PaineWebber Invitational on the Champions Tour (1983-89); and the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour (2003-present). These are the five most-recent winners of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow:
