Winners of The Tradition Golf Tournament (Champions Tour Major)

The Tradition is the name of a golf tournament on the Champions Tour, and the tournament is counted as one of the five major championships of senior golf by that tour. That makes all the golfers who appear on the list of winners below senior major winners.

The Tradition debuted during the first decade of the Senior Tour's history; it has been played since 1989. Since 1997, the tournament has had title sponsors, but "Tradition" has always been part of the name. Those title sponsors include Countrywide and Jeld-Wen. Since 2011, the tournament's official name has been "Regions Tradition."

Who Has the Most Wins in The Tradition?

Jack Nicklaus is the golfer with the most wins in The Tradition, with four. Steve Stricker has three and several other golfers won this trophy twice. These are the multiple champions to date:
  • 4 wins — Nicklaus (1990, 1991, 1995, 1996)
