Tiger Woods' USGA Championship Wins
Woods has nine overall victories in USGA championships: three in the U.S. Junior Amateur, three in the U.S. Amateur, and three in the U.S. Open. That total (9) ties Woods with Bobby Jones for the most wins by any golfer in USGA championships. Woods won six USGA tournament titles as an amateur and three as a professional. At one point, he won USGA tournaments in six consecutive years.

When Woods won his first U.S. Amateur in 1994, he was 18 years, 7 months, 29 days old. That was the tournament record (since broken) for youngest winner. Woods' three wins is not the tournament record, but he is the only golfer to win the U.S. Amateur three consecutive years.
Woods is also the only golfer so far who has one both the U.S. Junior Amateur and the U.S. Amateur; and the only golfer so far who has won both those championships plus the U.S. Open.
