Notable notes: Sung Hyun Park, a 10-time winner on the Korean LPGA Tour, earned her first major championship and first LPGA Tour victory. She did it by shooting 67-67 (10-under par) on the weekend after finishing the second round seven strokes off the lead. ... Shanshan Feng led the first 54 holes of the tournament, but shot 75 in the final round to finish fifth. ... 17-year-old Korean amateur Hye-jin Choi was tied for second after the third round, and that's where she finished, two behind Park, after a final-round 71.
