1992 World Golf Rankings: No. 1, Top 50 at End of Year
Nick Faldo was ranked No. 1 at the end of the year, a year in which he won the 1992 British Open. He also won three other events on the European Tour: the Irish Open, Scandinavian Masters and European Open. Faldo also won two non-Tour events, the World Match Play Championship and the Johnnie Walker World Golf Championship.
