'Big Break Myrtle Beach' Winner, Cast
Big Break Myrtle Beach was the 22nd season of the Golf Channel series The Big Break, in which a cast of golfers competed in challenges and matches, with one eliminated each week. Big Break Myrtle Beach aired late in 2014, with the series premiere televised on October 7, 2014.
The series taped in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, area. The three courses of Barefoot Resort & Golf were the main locations, but some taping was also done at Pawleys Plantation on Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Hosts for the series were Golf Channel regular Tom Abbott and LPGA Tour player Paige Mackenzie.

- Anthony Quezada, age 19, from Phoenix, Ariz. — Turned pro at age 18 after 33 wins in junior golf.
- Tessa Teachman, age 24, from Baton Rouge, La. — Member of the Ladies European Tour in 2014 and also plays mini-tours.
- Emily Tubert, age 22, from Burbank, Calif. — Three-time collegiate All-America selection who turned pro after graduation, Tubert won the 2010 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship and played on Team USA in the 2012 Curtis Cup.
'Big Break Myrtle Beach' Winner
The champion of Big Break Myrtle Beach was Jimmy Brandt. The championship match was 18 holes of match play, with Brandt facing Toph Peterson. They were all square after the first nine holes. Brandt won the 10th and 11th holes to go 2-up, and wasn't challenged after that. The final score was Brandt over Peterson, 3 and 1.What Brandt won: Brandt's championship haul included $75,000 cash and fully exempt status (with all entry fees paid) on the NGA Pro Golf Tour in 2015. In addition, he received entry into the 2015 PGA Tour Valspar Championship.
How Brandt did in his exemption: Brandt shot rounds of 76 and 74 in the 2015 Valspar Championship, missing the cut. His final total was 8-over par 150.
