U.S. Senior Open Golf Courses: Where They've Played
The U.S. Senior Open is one of the five major championships of senior men's professional golf, but unquestionably the biggest of them. Want to see which golf courses the USGA has selected over the years for this tournament? The list is below. But first, a few notes.
There is no U.S. Senior Open rota — the USGA does not have a set rotation of golf courses it uses for this championship. You will, however, notice on the list below that some of the golf courses show up multiple times.
Many of those golf courses have also been the sites of other USGA championships, including, in some cases, the U.S. Open. The USGA also likes to use its other championships as proving grounds for golf courses that have not yet hosted a U.S. Open, and also to revisit golf courses that once did host U.S. Opens but, for various reasons, don't anymore.
