Notes: The wind was blowing hard both days at the 1976 Curtis Cup, but the second day was played in sun after a bitter, rainy first day.

For Team USA, Beth Daniel made the first of two Curtis Cup appearances, and Nancy Lopez made her only Cup appearance. Daniel went 4-0-0 and Lopez 2-0-0. Both went on to become LPGA legends. Three other Team USA members, Cynthia (Cindy) Hill, Deborah (Debbie) Massey and Donna White, went on to win multiple times on the LPGA Tour, too, and Barbara Barrow won once on tour.

Daniel was the reigning U.S. Women's Amateur champ. When she defeated Dinah Oxley Henson in the first singles match of Day 2, she provided Team USA with its winning point.
