Notes: Elizabeth Price was the hero of Team GB&I's first-ever Curtis Cup victory. In the deciding match — the sixth and final singles match, with the score tied 4-4 — Price dispatched Team USA's Grace DeMoss on the 16th green, taking a 3-and-2 victory.

Price also helped GB&I open the tournament with a win, teaming with Jean Donald for victory in the first foursomes match on Day 1. GB&I won two of the foursomes to take a 1-point lead into Day 1, then split the singles matches to claim the trophy.

Dorothy Kirby's comeback in the first singles match on Day 2 was another of the highlights. The American was 5-down with 11 holes to play in the 36-hole match. But Kirby tied the match on the 35th hole, then won it on the 36th.
