Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year Winners
Which golfers have been named Rookie of the Year on the Ladies European Tour? The full list of those winners is below, and it includes many familiar names.
The Ladies European Tour, or LET, is the top tour for women's professional golf in Europe. It has named a Rookie of the Year every year since 1984. Today, the LET's Rookie of the Year is based on points accrued by golfers throughout the LET season (same as the LPGA's Rookie of the Year award).
Only once in LET history has a golfer won both the Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year awards in the same season: Carlota Ciganda in 2012. (However, Laura Davies probably belongs on the list, too: She was Rookie of the Year in 1985 and also led the tour's Order of Merit; but, the tour had not yet established its Player of the Year award.)
