Notes: The Internationals, trying to win for just the second time in Presidents Cup history, raced to a 4-1 lead following the first session, and led by two points (10-8) entering the final session. But in singles, Team USA was dominant, taking an 8-4 advantage. ... Tiger Woods was both captain and player for Team USA, just the second time in tournament history (after Hale Irwin in the inaugural 1994 Presidents Cup) there was a playing captain. Woods went 3-0-0 and passed Phil Mickelson as the all-time leading match-winner at the Presidents Cup.
