Notable Notes: At age 42, Darren Clarke won in his first Top 10 finish at a British Open since 2001. Clarke led by one over Dustin Johnson entering the final round, but won by three over Johnson and Phil Mickelson. It was Mickelson's best-ever finish in a British Open. Mickelson tied Clarke at one point, but by the time he reached the 68th hole of the tournament Clarke had a 4-stroke lead.
