Brady's best finish in a major was second place, which he achieved twice in U.S. Opens. Brady lost in playoffs at the 1911 and 1919 U.S. Opens. Brady never played the British Open and The Masters did not yet exist during the years of his playing career. His best finish at the PGA Championship was reaching the Round of 16 during its match-play era.

Notable Notes: Mike Brady joined Johnny McDermott and George Simpson in the 1911 U.S. Open playoff. Brady - carrying only six golf clubs in his golf bag - shot 82 and Simpson 85, but McDermott won with an 80. Had Brady won, he would have been the first native-born American golf to win a U.S. Open. Instead, that distinction belongs to McDermott.

At the 1919 U.S. Open, Brady lost in a playoff to Walter Hagen, by one stroke. ...
