Greater Jacksonville Open

 

The Greater Jacksonville Open had two runs as a PGA Tour golf tournament, first from the mid-1940s to mid-50s, then again from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s. This tournament was discontinued when The Players Championship became permanently located at TPC Sawgrass, which is near Jacksonville.

Golf Courses: The last two courses to host the tournament were Hidden Hills Country Club and Deerwood Country Club, both located within Jacksonville proper.
