Titleholders Championship

The Titleholders Championship originated long before the LPGA Tour existed, but is retroactively considered a major championship by the LPGA. That means all the winners listed below are credited as winning LPGA majors.

The list of champions includes early giants of women's golf such as Patty Berg, Louise Suggs and Babe Zaharias, each of whom first won the tournament as an amateur, then again later as a pro.

There have been two other tournaments in LPGA that included "Titleholders" in their names, but only The Titleholders Championship was a major.

First played: 1937

Last played: 1972
