Samsung World Championship

 

The Samsung World Championship was an LPGA Tour golf tournament played for around 30 years beginning in the early 1980s. It was an invitational tournament with a small field, originally only 12 players but later expanding to 20. It was originally played in Florida, but later moved to California.

The leading winner was Annika Sorenstam, who took the trophy five times. Juli Inkster and Beth Daniel each won three times.
