How to make different versions of the tea-and-lemonade drink

On this page you'll find variations on the basic recipe for an Arnold Palmer drink. The basic Arnold Palmer is half iced tea (unsweetened), half lemonade. But there are many ways to add a twist, to add different flavors to the mix. And those are the recipes you'll find below.

(Note that there are many alcoholic Arnold Palmer recipes, too, which you can find here. On this page we focus on non-alcoholic recipes.)

For each of the non-alcoholic recipes below, we give you the list of ingredients plus a link to the original recipe. You can probably figure out the directions for putting each of these Arnold Palmers together, but if you need help click the link to view the original and its instructions.

You can also take the easy route and simply purchase your Arnold Palmer beverages:

Mint Arnold Palmer
• 3 heaping teaspoons black tea (preferably Ceylon black tea)
• 2 cups boiling water
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• The juice from 2 large lemons
• The leaves from 4 sprigs of mint
• 3 cups ice cubes or crushed ice, plus extra for serving

Green tea Arnold Palmer
• Frozen lemonade concentrate
• Simmering water (1/2 the amount called for on the lemonade package)
• 1 teaspoon green tea leaves for each cup of simmering water
• Cold water (1/2 the amount called for on the lemonade package)
• Ice

Jasmine Arnold Palmer
• 6 cups water
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup honey or natural sweetener
• 1/4 cup Samovar Organic Jasmine Pearl Green Tea
• 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
• Ice

Blackberry Lemonade Arnold Palmer
• 3 heaping teaspoons black tea (preferably Ceylon black tea)
• 2 cups boiling water
• 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar or sugar alternative
• About 15 large blackberries
• About 3/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (from 2-3 large lemons)
• 16 ice cubes (about 1 ice tray worth), plus more for each glass

Betty Crocker's Lemonade Tea
• 2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
• 3 quarts iced tea
• Fresh mint sprig, if desired

Tyler Florence's Fancy Arnold Palmer
• 4 English breakfast tea bags
• 1 tea kettle filled with boiling water
• 1 cup Simple Syrup (see instructions)
• 1 cup lemon juice
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 2 cups ice cubes

Frozen Arnold Palmers
• 5 large lemons
• 1 to 2 limes (optional)
• 3 cups water
• 1 cup simple syrup (or 1/2 cup agave syrup diluted in 1/2 cup water)

Iced Tea:
• Black Tea bags of choice

Simple Syrup:
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup sugar

Sweet Scratch Arnold Palmer
• 1 tor 2-pound bag of fresh lemons, juiced
• 6 tea bags
• 2 cups sugar
• 8 cups water
• Fresh mint

Peach Arnold Palmer
• 1 fluid ounce Davinci Gourmet Fruit Innovations Peach Syrup
• 4 fluid ounces Premium Lemonade
• 4 fluid ounces freshly brewed premium black tea, chilled
• 1 cupful of ice

Arnold Palmer Slushie
• 3 cups sweetened iced tea
• 1 pint lemon sorbet
• 3 cups ice
• 1/4 cup lemon juice

Raspberry Arnold Palmer
• 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 slices (1/4-inch thick) fresh ginger
• 3 English breakfast tea bags
• 1 12-ounce container thawed frozen lemonade concentrate
• Ice
• Lemon wedges
